Professional Summary

I am an information and learning scientist with experience as a nonprofit executive, lead researcher, and serial social and technology entrepreneur. Over the past 20 years, I have been instrumental in the design and strategic direction of several established organizations and programs throughout the United States. My experience and research span the domains of technology entrepreneurship, STEM education, digital media production, organizational and community development, information politics, and includes expertise in critical race theory, sociotechnical theories, and decolonizing methods. Taken together, these domains inform my approach to developing highly effective, research-based solutions that produce meaningful outcomes for my clients, partners, and communities. My current work leverages my experience and know-how to support the design and growth of entrepreneurship ventures and ecosystems. The unifying focus across all of my work, from STEM schools to start-ups, is to increase social equity and economic stability for marginalized peoples and communities.

“I had the pleasure of working with Zithri and his team as they strove to realize their vision for the TAF Academy. When I was the Sr. Program Officer for Education at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, we made a significant investment in the vision for TAF Academy. We invested in the people who would make that vision a reality; we invested in Zithri and his group. Thanks to his hard work, today that vision is reality. Zithri is smart, dedicated, visionary, strategic, humble, personable, and so much more. He is a role model to many, and I very much enjoyed working with him. Given an opportunity I would do so again with no reservations.”
